Surah 3:50 (Surah
43:63)
...the words of Isa: “And
I come confessing to the Taurat that was before me, and to allow unto
you some of that which was forbidden unto you. So And I have come unto you with
a sign
from
your Lord wherefore fear Allah and obey me.”(Abdul Daryabadi translation).
Surah 3:55
“(And
remember) when Allah said: O Jesus! Lo! I am gathering
thee and causing thee to ascend unto Me, and am cleansing thee of those who
disbelieve and am setting those who follow thee above those who disbelieve
until the Day of Resurrection. Then unto Me ye will (all) return, and I shall
judge between you as to that wherein ye used to
differ.”(Pickthal translation)
«Вспомни, Мухаммад, как сказал Аллах:
"О 'Иса! Я упокою тебя, вознеся
тебя ко Мне, и очищу тебя от тех, кто не уверовал, а
тех, которые следовали за тобой, возвышу до
самого Дня воскресения над теми, которые не уверовали» (перевод Османова).
Surah
4:159
“and on the Day of Resurrection he will be a witness against them” (Pickthal translation).
«...а
Surah 3:199
“And
lo! of the People of the Scripture there are some who believe
in Allah and that which is revealed unto you and that which was revealed unto
them, humbling themselves before Allah. They purchase not a trifling gain at
the price of the
revelations
of Allah. Verily their reward is with their Lord.”
(Pickthal Translation).
«Действительно, среди обладателей писания есть такие, что
веруют в Аллаха и в то, ...что ниспослано им, смиряясь пред Аллахом; Эти
– для них награда их у их Господа»
(перевод Крачковского).
From this it is understood that those who follow Isa al-Masih (Isa the
Messiah), will not be cast out in the Judgment, they already have a reward with
God and their reward is awaiting them with God. That is, those who follow Isa
will be in the Kingdom of God.
Surah 10:94
-
said to Muhammad: “And
if thou (Muhammad) art in doubt concerning that which We reveal unto
thee, then question those who read the Scripture (that was) before thee. Verily
the Truth from thy Lord hath come unto thee. So be not thou
of the waverers.”(Pickthal translation).
\
«Если ты сомневаешься в том, что Мы
ниспослали тебе, то спроси тех, которые читают прежние
писания» (перевод Османова).
Surah 3:113
“They
are not all alike. Of the People of the Scripture there is
a staunch community who recite the revelations of Allah in
the
night season, falling prostrate (before Him).”
(Pickthal translation).
«Обладатели
Писания не одинаковы. Среди них есть община честная и
справедливая, которая читает Писание, ниспосланное
Аллахом, ночью, когда они молятся, поклоняясь» (перевод Аль-Азхар).
Surah 2:253
“…and We gave
Jesus, son of Mary, clear proofs (of Allah's Sovereignty)
and We supported him with the holy Spirit.”
(Pickthal translation).
«И
Surah 5:46,47
“And We caused Jesus,
son of Mary, to follow in their footsteps,
confirming that which was (revealed) before him in the Torah, and We bestowed
on him the Gospel [Injil] wherein is guidance and a light, confirming that
which was (revealed) before it in the Torah - a guidance and an admonition unto
those who ward off (evil). (46) Let the People of the Gospel judge by that
which Allah hath revealed therein. Whoso judgeth not by that which Allah hath
revealed:
such
are evil-livers.” (Pickthal translation).
«Вслед за
пророками Мы отправили 'Ису, сына Марйам, с подтверждением
истинности того, что было до него в Торе. И
Мы даровали ему Евангелие, а в
нем – свет и праведный путь в
подтверждение тому, что в Торе, и ниспослали наставление для богобоязненных.
Пусть
последователи Евангелия судят согласно тому, что Аллах
ниспослал в нем. А кто не будет судить согласно
тому, что ниспослал Аллах, тот – грешник» (перевод Османова).
Surah 57:27
“Then
We caused Our messengers to follow in their footsteps; and
We caused Jesus, son of Mary, to follow, and gave him the Gospel, and placed
compassion and mercy in the hearts of
those
who followed him.” (Pickthal translation).
«Потом
направили Мы... 'Ису, сына Марйам, и даровали ему Писание, а в сердца тех, кто
последовал за ним, Мы вселили сострадание и милосердие. Монашество же они сами
придумали» (перевод Османова).
No one can change the
Word of God
Surah 6:115 (Surah
6:34)
“Perfected
is the Word of thy Lord in truth and justice. There is
naught that can change His words. He is the Hearer, the
Knower.”
(Pickthal translation).

Surah
3:103, 104
“…ye
were upon the brink of an abyss of fire, and He did save
you from it…
And there may spring from you a nation
who invite to goodness, and enjoin right conduct and forbid indecency. Such are
they who are successful.” (Pickthal translation).
«Вы были на краю
пропасти огня, и Он спас вас оттуда.
И пусть будет среди вас община,
которая призывает к добру, приказывает
одобренное и удерживает от неодобряемого. Эти – счастливы» (перевод Крачковского).

About the
death and ascension of Isa
Surah
3:55
And remember) when Allah said: O Jesus!
Lo! I am gathering thee and
causing thee to ascend unto Me, and am cleansing thee of those who disbelieve
and am setting those who follow thee above those who disbelieve until the Day
of
Resurrection…”
(Pickthal translation).
«Вот
сказал Аллах: "О Иса! Я упокою тебя, и вознесу
тебя ко Мне, и очищу тебя от тех, которые не
веровали, и сделаю тех, которые последовали за тобой, выше
тех, которые не веровали,
до дня
воскресения» (перевод Крачковского).
(Слово
«упокоиться» означает - найти себе вечный покой (говорится об
умершем и похороненном, см. толковый словарь русского языка, Ефремова Т.Ф.))
Questions to Ponder
(and
answers)
1.
Without a father, no child is born. Who is the father of Isa?
“Answer:… “nd
Mary, daughter of 'Imran, whose body was chaste, therefor We breathed therein
something of Our Spirit.” – so, the Spirit of God moved on Maryam and she
became with child by him.
4:171) In this sense, Isa was born by
the Holy Spirit and Maryam
2.
In the Qu’ran Isa states “fear Allah and obey me.” (Surah 3:50) Where can one
find the teachings of Isa, in order to obey him?
(Answer:
The commandments and teachings of Isa are written in the Injil
(Gospel)see Surah 5:46,47, 57:27, 3:45,48).
3.
What does the Qu’ran say about the writings the Injil, Torah, and Zabur?
(Answer: These books are holy writings from above (see Surah 5:44,
6:154, 17:55, 4:136, 5:46,47, 3:45,48, 57:27).
4.
Is it possible that God allowed for the Torah, Injil or Zabur to be changed?
(Answer: God does not allow this. It is written “No one
changes his word” Surah 6:115. No one!!! The holy writings of the Torah, Zabur,
and Injil are eternal and unchanging and will be fulfilled. This is confirmed
by what archeologists are finding today.
Ancient
handwritten manuscripts of the Holy Writings confirm they have they exact same
words that modern documents have.
5.
What does the Qu’ran say about those who read the Holy Writings?
(Answer:
- they are called “People of the Book”
- they are not all the same (Surah 3:113). Among them are faithful
and unfaithful;
- those among the People of the Book that truly follow Isa al
Masih, God exalts above those who did not believe in him, see Surah 3:55;
- God counsels to question the people of the Book when you have
see Surah 10:94. God says this to Muhammad, how much more does this apply to
everyone else?
6. What happens to those who
don’t obey Isa al Masih (Isa the Messiah)
(Answer:
Those who do not obey Isa, he will testify against them in the judgment!
see Surah 4:159).
7. Who does
God exalt above unbelievers?
(Answer: Those who
belive in Isa are set above those who disbelieve, see Surah 3:55).
8. Who is
unthreatened by God’s Judgment?
(Answer: True people
of the Book (followers of Isa) God’s judgment doesn’t threaten, for their
reward is with God in heaven, see Surah 3:199. If their reward is aleady
awaiting them in heaven, then they are certain to pass through the Judgment).
9.
Does God want for the followers of Isa would gather together?
(Answer: Yes,
those saved from falling into the fire should cling together, see Surah 3:103,
104.
But
how can one follower Isa al Masih and how can one heed his commands (as it says
in Surah 3:50 and 43:63), without reading the word given to him from God, the
Injil (Gospel)?
Surah 43:63
“When Jesus came with clear
proofs (of Allah's Sovereignty), he said: … So keep your duty to Allah, and
obey me!”
Surah 4:159
“And there is none among
the people of the Book but shall surely believe in him before his death, and on
the Day of Judgement he shall be a witness against them.”
